• About Me

My career journey has led me down a few different paths, starting out as a Redcoat at Butlins, a classic British holiday camp where I spent my days putting smiles on people’s faces. It was an incredible experience, full of energy and laughter, but also where it re-enforced how much I enjoyed helping others.

From there, I took what some might call a big leap into social care. It might sound like a world away from holiday entertainment, but at its core, it was still about supporting people, just in a very different way. Whether it was helping young people and families through challenging times or guiding them towards brighter days, I loved knowing I was making a difference.

In every role I’ve had, staying organised has been the key to ensuring success. For me, it’s not just about keeping things tidy; it’s about finding calm in the chaos. When everything’s in its place, I can think more clearly, work more effectively, and even enjoy life a little more.

At home, my wife has been a constant source of support and encouragement as I’ve worked to set up my business. With her experience of being self-employed for most of her career, she’s been invaluable when I’ve needed advice or a fresh perspective. Then there’s Leo, our cocker spaniel, who spends most of the day snoozing next to me whilst I work away! Together, we love to travel, and while Leo stays home for the big trips at the moment, we dream of taking working holidays abroad and maybe even bringing him along for the ride someday.

I’ve always loved the outdoors, especially in the summer when the sun is shining, but over the years, I’ve also learned to appreciate the simple beauty of a crisp winter day. You will often find us exploring new places around the UK near or far, with most of our adventures revolving around food! I’m someone who finds joy in creativity, whether it’s baking, practising yoga, or exploring hands-on projects. I love the challenge of figuring things out and diving into something new, learning as I go. For me, it’s all about staying curious and embracing the process.

That’s a little about me. Life’s always been about people for me, from cheering them up on holiday, helping them through a crisis, or just sharing stories and experiences. It’s something I’ll always carry with me, no matter where life takes me next.
